The master program has a normal duration of 2 academic years (4 semesters) conducted with the accumulation of 120 ECTS. This Master allows the graduates to pursue their education at the doctoral level.
As a regular program, there are only tax places.
The admission process is open for Bachelor’s graduates having a Bachelor’s diploma or equivalent, regardless of the year of graduation, provided the level of studies and the diploma are recognized by the Ministry of Education and Research of Romania.
The citizens of other European Union member states, of the European Economic Area, and of the Swiss Confederation are entitled to take part in the admission process under the same legal conditions as the Romanian citizens, including the same tuition fees. Their Bachelor’s or equivalent diploma has to be recognized by the competent department of the Ministry of Education and Research before registration with the ASE (the process may take up to 30 days).
The admission process consists of an interview exam.
The preparation for the interview exam will be done using the list of topics and references presented below in the Admission Exam section and can be requested at admiteremaster2026@biblioteca.

Registration for Romanian, EU, EEA and Swiss Confederation Citizens
The applicants will fill in their personal data on the online platform (https://ase.ro/admitere/masterat/), including e-mail address and telephone number, and will upload copies of the following documents (submitted in .pdf or .jpeg / .jpg format):
- Bachelor diploma or equivalent and transcript of records/diploma supplement –authenticated translations into Romanian, if the case; (For the graduates of the 2026 promotion, a certificate of graduation of the bachelor’s exam, specifying the arithmetic averages of the years of study, the average of the bachelor’s exam, and other required information. For ASE 2026 Bachelor’s graduates, the data will be imported automatically from the university database.)
- High School Graduation Diploma (Baccalaureate) or equivalent and transcript of records. Authenticated translations into Romanian, if the case
- Graduates of study programs from abroad must also upload the certificate/equivalence certificate issued by the Ministry of Education and Research – CNRED. Before registration, they must send study documents (bachelor’s degree or equivalent, diploma supplement, and CNRED certificate) to internationaladmission@ase.ro for grade equivalence.
- Birth certificate.
- Identity card/passport (for foreign citizens).
- Copy of marriage certificate (if applicable).
- Personal statement – Annex 7, generated at registration, declaring:
- Will not benefit from simultaneous funding from the budget for two university study programs.
- Will not follow more than two university study programs simultaneously.
- Has not been expelled without the right of re-registration from ASE.
- Was/was not enrolled in another master’s program, including details of budget funding.
- Agrees to the processing of personal data.
- An ID-type photo.
- Curriculum Vitae (in English).
- Motivational letter (in English).
- Professional recommendation (in Romanian or English).
- Proof of payment of the registration fees for those who pay by bank transfer (recommended: online payment on the admission platform).
- Medical certificate stating that the applicant is fit for university studies (delivered within the last 6 months prior to the registration, by the family physician or university/regional medical practices);
- English Proficiency Certificate (optional).
- Other documents certifying special status (e.g., Roma minority, social protection system, registration fee exemptions according to art. 39).
- Personal statement regarding the authenticity of uploaded documents and correspondence between digital/scanned and original documents (Annex 8).
- Citizens of other EU, EEA, and Swiss Confederation states who do not have a Romanian Numerical Personal Number (CNP) must send their study documents to internationaladmission@ase.ro before registration and request an ID to access the online platform.
- If study or civil documents (birth/marriage certificate) are in a language other than Romanian, legalized Romanian translations must be uploaded on the platform (https://ase.ro/admitere/masterat/).
