Description
This course provides students with advanced knowledge and practical skills for identifying, assessing, and managing risks associated with blockchain technologies and digital asset ecosystems. It examines key risk categories—including market, operational, governance, and regulatory risks—while introducing analytical approaches such as statistical analysis, machine learning techniques, and threat modelling frameworks. The course also addresses smart contract vulnerabilities, financial risks in crypto markets, compliance requirements, and incident response strategies. Through lectures, case studies, data analysis workshops, and project-based activities, students develop practical risk management frameworks for blockchain applications. The main strengths of the course include its interdisciplinary perspective, integration of quantitative analysis and cybersecurity principles, and strong focus on real-world blockchain risk scenarios.
